Scott Hackett-Dalgliesh is entering his third season as an assistant coach with the Dartmouth men’s lacrosse team in 2018.
Hackett-Dalgliesh came to Dartmouth from UMass Lowell, where he served as an assistant coach for the 2014 season. During the team’s first year as a Division I program, he helped lead the River Hawks to the team’s first victory at NJIT on March 7. Under his guidance as Offensive Coordinator, two rookie attackmen were named to the America-East All-Rookie Team.
Prior to that, he served as head coach at Marywood University for three seasons (2012-2014). Outside the lines with the Pacers, Dalgliesh mentored 30 All-Academic Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) student-athletes and 23 All-CSAC players while improving the retention rate of the team by eight-percent from 2012-2014 compared to 2009-2011. While at Marywood, Dalgliesh also served as Coordinator of Field Operations, where he acted as the athletic department field liaison coordinating and scheduling practices and games.
A 2007 graduate of Dickinson College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law and Policy, Hackett-Dalgliesh also enjoyed a stellar playing career by setting a plethora of conference and program records at the time. He earned his masters degree in Public Administration at Marywood in 2009.
