Chris Cooper joined the Binghamton staff in September 2016.
In 2017, he helped the Bearcats to their most successful season in program history. The team picked to finish last in the preseason poll advanced to the America East championship game and set a new program record for wins in a season (11). As the offensive coordinator, Cooper coached one USILA All-American and three America East All-Conference selections in 2017.
Cooper spent the 2016 season at John Carroll University, guiding his team its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. He earned Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Coach of the Year honors as he led the Blue Streaks to the OAC regular season and tournament titles.
Before being hired at John Carroll, Cooper served as an assistant at Binghamton for the fall of 2015. He worked primarily with the offense and goalies in his time at Binghamton. Cooper also spent time coaching at Princeton and Denison. He graduated from Central Michigan University in 2013.
